Meet Coach Carol
Coach Carol launched her educational consulting firm after experiencing firsthand the void her family encountered while planning for her eldest child’s college education. She quickly realized that many high school counselors are overburdened with students, making it difficult to provide the level of care required to address many of the intricacies that can develop in each student’s personal journey.
Instead of leaving her child’s future to mere chance, she took the reigns to help navigate her child into not only the school of her choice but also the best fit for her child and their family. As the word began to spread about her track record of success, she began to help her child’s classmates, neighbors, friends, and friends of friends plan their post-secondary journey.

Coach Carol Educational Consulting helps students and their families navigate through all aspects of the college admission process with much less stress and anxiety that typically accompanies the “college process.” Carol removes the guesswork and provides the student with the information they need to make informed and confident decisions while also developing a college application that illustrates who they are, what they want, and why they are ready to GET IN and DO WELL.

Carol’s mission is to make herself available to students committed to planning for their future. She believes that educational advising should not be a privilege that is only available to a few. Clients can work with her through the Club Journey Membership Club which provides everything students need for college planning. Membership is very affordable and loaded with roadmaps of information, videos, sample essays, workshops, templates, and so much more.
For clients that prefer one-to-one advising, the student also receives membership access to Club Journey as well as a customized advising plan.
Journeys to Becoming Scholarship
Whether you are heading to college to BECOME an accountant, engineer, or any other discipline, the transition from high school to college can be both exhilarating and overwhelming. One of the most important aspects of this transition is settling into your new living space – your college dorm. However, we recognize that the costs associated with furnishing a dorm room can be a significant financial strain on students and their families.
The Journeys to Becoming Scholarship was created to alleviate some of that burden. The recipients of this scholarship will be awarded a generous package of college dorm essentials, including bedding, storage solutions, study materials, and a $1,000 check to cover other move-in expenses.
